We are currently preparing a short narrative film by a Lebanese director completing her Master’s at La Fémis (Paris).
The film is being developed in Paris, while *pre-production and shooting will take place in Lebanon*.

Synopsis
Alma, a teenage girl pressured by her mother to lose weight, pretends she never received the package containing the dress they bought together when she realizes it is too small for her, having failed to lose the weight she was expected to. But her mother eventually finds the dress, and Alma is forced to wear it for the fertility ritual they are due to attend in their village.
She plays a central role in this public religious ceremony: that of the young virgin. The ritual does not go as planned—Alma tears the dress that is too tight for her, walks awkwardly, and ultimately brings shame upon her mother.
Wardrobe / Costume Styling Role
We are looking to collaborate with a wardrobe / costume stylist interested in working on a natural, character-driven film, where wardrobe plays a central role in shaping the characters’ identities, social context, and emotional journey.
The stylist will work closely with the director and creative team and will be responsible for:
* developing the costume direction in collaboration with the director;
* researching, sourcing, and coordinating looks that feel authentic, local, and story-driven;
* accompanying the project throughout preparation and shooting.
