What You Will Be Doing: ● Responsible for overseeing all stages of the textiles manufacturing process. ● Make sure that the process runs smoothly, is cost-effective and delivers products to the right standard and on time. Position Summary:
The Junior Pattern Maker will support the pattern development team by assisting in the creation, modification, and completion of garment patterns. This role is intended for a recently graduated candidate with foundational knowledge in pattern drafting and garment construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting, developing, and adjusting patterns under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support in preparing pattern blocks, templates, and sample patterns for new designs.
• Conduct basic measurements, tracing, grading, and pattern documentation tasks.
• Verify pattern accuracy, including seam allowances, notches, grainlines, and overall fit specifications.
• Participate in fit sessions and apply required corrections as instructed.
• Maintain organized pattern files, ensuring proper version control and labeling.
• Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure patterns meet technical and production requirements.
• Assist with marker layouts and preparation when needed.
• Adhere to quality standards and ensure all patterns are finalized and ready for sampling and production.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of pattern drafting, garment construction, and fabric behavior.
